in the making…
On June 27 at 7:00 pm & June 28 at 2:00 pm, PBIEA will present a reading of the new musical based on the book “Paisley’s Last Quill.” Paisley is the brainchild of playwright and author Deborah Weed.
I am honored that Deborah asked me to be her dramaturg and help to tell the story she has held close in her heart for 10 years. Now that the play is nearing completion, we need your input to guide us through the final edits. Please join us on either Saturday evening or Sunday afternoon and share your thoughts.
Tickets are only $20 and will be used to cover the cost of printing scripts and other production expenses.

DRAMATURG REVIEW:
Paisley—the Musical is a beautifully written and highly cinematic story. The play has remarkable heart, a cohesive moral arc, and major Broadway level potential, particularly for intergenerational audiences. There is a wonderful balance between whimsical and profound. The audience feels they are watching a children’s fable with adult-level emotional sophistication. This show has crossover potential: empowering for girls and boys, emotionally resonant for mothers, and visually stunning for general audiences.

From I-95 North/South -- Exit I-95 at Northlake Boulevard. Travel east to U.S. Highway One. Turn right. There will be a CVS and a gas station on your right. Immediately after the gas station is a driveway. Turn right into it. At the stop sign, make a left to travel along the store fronts until you reach Suite #115... located next to True Treasures Consignment. There is plenty of parking.
